Preferences
(Defaults or static
parameters).
PopCal 2.0 has a set of defaults or preferences
that are used in case the parameter sentence have an error
on its syntax or you decide not to include any of the parameters
in the sentence.
To get the preferences dialog box, you should
go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences for Win and MacOS
9 or go to FileMaker Pro/ Preferences/ Application… for MacOSX
as shown below.

A sub-menu will be displayed where you should
choose the “Application...” option. After this, the Application
Preferences dialog will be displayed. Press the pop-up menu
that is named as “General” and drag your mouse until plug-ins
submenu is highlighted. For MacOSX select the “Plug-Ins” tab
as shown below.

When the plug-ins are listed,
select PopCal 2.0.

The preferences dialog box is displayed.

VERY IMPORTANT
Please remeber that this preferences will be use only if you
decide not to include any of the parameters of PopCal in your
script. Then, the static preference for only that parameter
will be used.
Installation
Windows:
Drag the "Pop Cal.fmx" file to the "System" folder which is
located inside the FileMaker Pro 4.0 folder. Usually the FileMaker
Pro 4.0 folder is inside the Program Files folder. Talking
in the language of windows paths: C:\Program Files\FileMaker
Pro 4.0\System\Pop Cal.fmx
Macintosh:
Drag the "Pop Cal" file to the "Filemaker Extensions" folder
in the FileMaker Pro 4.0 folder.

on how to install your plug. To do it, you will need Acrobat
reader from Adobe. In case
you don´t have it yet, you can free download it from www.adobe.com.
If FileMaker Pro is open while you installed
the plug, it is important to close it and restart it. You
can use the "Pop Cal Test File" to try some of the features
of the plug and make sure that it is properly installed.
